Instructor: Juliana Muñoz Toro (Colombia)
In this two-session workshop, we will understand what makes a story «also» for children. In the first session, we will review a brief panorama of contemporary children’s literature. This panorama will help us study tools such as a child’s voice, childhood memories, humor, and imagination. With this material, in the next session, we will work with writing exercises and learn how to finish a good short-story for children. This workshop will be taught via Zoom and it is free of charge. Registration is required on Eventbrite for each day.
